10 Best Bedside Bassinets for Twin Babies (2024)

Congratulations! You’re expecting twins! Now you may be wondering, where are they going to sleep?

That was one of the first things I thought of when we found out we were having twins. I saw so many beautiful nurseries and bedside bassinets but those weren’t going to be an option. What did parents with twins use?

One of the beauties of having a bedside bassinet is for a few months after your twins are born, they can be sleeping right beside you for easy access throughout the night, and during the day!

For a new mom, it can reduce your anxiety throughout the night by having your newborns right next to you and having easy access to them whenever they need you.

When they let you know that they are ready for milk, very loudly I might add, they’ll be right next to you to feed.

I felt so much better as a new mom knowing my babies were right beside me. I slept better knowing I could tend to them at a moment’s notice.

As an ultra researcher, I spent time scouring the internet for the best options for our twins.

I hope this list makes the search easier for you!

1. HARPPA Baby Bassinet Bedside Sleeper

4.6 out of 5 stars 361 ratings

Product Dimensions 37.9″L x 23.7″W x 34″H

This beautiful double bassinet has a removable mesh separator to give each of the twins their own separate space.

What I love about a mesh divider is that as the babies get older they can see each other without impeding on each other’s space.

The bassinet also has the added benefit of wheels to take it from room to room.

2. Joymor Twin Bassinet

4.5 out of 5 stars – 12 ratings

Product Dimensions 43″L x 30″W x 33″H

The Joymor Twin Bassinet is a great investment for parents who want a sleep space that grows with their twins.

When the babies come home they have separate sleep spaces in removable bassinets. As they grow older they can be removed and the space used as a crib.

This sleeper isn’t as mobile as the first on this list but is still a great option. This sleeper can also be used as a secondary sleep space in another room.

A note of advice: as the babies grow older a secondary sleep space may be necessary for the 2nd twin.

3. Simmons Kids Sleeper Bassinet

4.7 out of 5 stars    1,253 ratings

Product Dimensions 30″L x 30″W x 38.25″H

This bassinet is what my husband and I purchased for our twins. What I have loved about the bassinet is the separate sleep spaces with the mesh separated. The twins have their own sleep spaces but can see each other and interact through the mesh.

The bassinet can be lifted to your bed height. I adjusted it so that the bassinet hovered just over my bed. I was able to lift them in and out of the bassinet without getting out of bed.

The bassinet isn’t very mobile so I recommend keeping it in the place you intend to use it. If you want a mobile bassinet I recommend purchasing one with 4 wheels.

As the babies get heavier replacement mattresses can be purchased for the bassinets.

Overall we have been very pleased with this bassinet and would recommend it to parents expecting twins

4. Baby Trend Nursery Center

4.7 out of 5 stars    2,320 ratings

Product Dimensions LxWxH 40.75 x 29.25 x 28.75 inches

We added this playard to our registry as a secondary sleep center for our twins.

The bassinets are separate sleep spaces and can be removed when the babies get older.

Our son just started rolling both ways so the playard has been a lifesaver so he can play without me worrying about him rolling onto the floor.

The playard is easy to move and maneuver around and I appreciate that as it will continue to grow with our twins.

5. Cutebeams Twin Bassinet

Product Dimensions 32″L x 32″W x 5″H

This is another great double bassinet option for your twins. It has the ease of mobility if you need to take it from room to room but it has a bassinet mode that puts the wheels up!

This sleeper has a tilt option to help your twins with any reflux that they may experience by elevating their head. This double bassinet also has a storage basket underneath.

The side of the bassinet also zips down for easy access to your twins.

I think this option has a lot of great features for your twins.

6. Ihoming Twin Bassinet

4.6 out of 5 stars    154 ratings

Product Dimensions 36″L x 39″W x 5″H

This double bassinet is similar to number 5. It has separate sleep spaces with a breathable mesh separation and an anti-reflux tilt design.

This sleeper has locking wheels to put the sleeper into bassinet mode.

This sleeper does not have an underneath storage basket but for those not needing one, this may be a perfect option for you!

7. Okaytwins Bassinet

4.5 out of 5 stars    14 ratings

The Okaytwins playard is another playard/bassinet combo to check out!

With the double bassinets and a playard to grow with your twins, you have a great option for a primary or secondary sleep space for your newborn twins.

8. Graco Pack and Play

4.5 out of 5 stars    45 ratings

Product Dimensions LxWxH 35 x 46 x 34 inches

Here we have the Grace Playard with double bassinets. Grace is a brand that I recommend as we have their car seats and double stroller for our twins. I have been very pleased with the quality of the stroller and car seats.

One of the concerns in the reviews is that the bassinets have limited support underneath so take that into consideration when considering purchasing this sleeper for your newborns.

9. Delta Children Compact Bassinet

Product dimensions: 32.75″D x 33.5″W x 25.75″H

Now this option is quite different from the rest. This double bassinet is foldable! For those who may need to store the double bassinet during the day to save space, this may be the one for you.

10. HALO Innovations Bassinet

Product dimensions: 23 Inches (H) x 15 Inches (W) x 36 Inches (D)

The last and final option is the HALO Innovations Bassinet. This option is unique to the others on this list because it rotates 360 degrees.

So imagine you’re in bed and the twin on the other side needs your help, you can rotate the bassinet to bring that baby closest to you!

It is mesh around which makes it easy to see the babies from all angles and different modes such as vibration and music.

I hope that I have made your search just a little bit less daunting.

It can be overwhelming thinking about all of the things that your twins will need, and most likely two for each.

My advice is to get the items that make the most sense for you and your family. Don’t let comparison or very pretty Instagram/Pinterest pictures spur you on to purchasing items that may largely go unused.

And it can be difficult to say what you might need. Think about the way in which your family operates and go from there. Worst case scenario you can return the bassinet and try again. On that note, I do recommend purchasing one a few months before your due date so that you have plenty of time to make sure it works for you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this list. For other tips and reviews on products check out the rest of my blog.
