Faith, Family, and Redefining Life

Hello!

Hi, I’m Jocelyn, and I believe every season of life brings an opportunity to redefine who we are. My story has been shaped by faith, resilience, and an ongoing journey to embrace my identity.

Born in New Jersey to a Jamaican mother and Brooklyn-born father, I grew up in a home rooted in faith and discipline, shaped by my parents’ military careers and unwavering commitment to God. Those early years instilled in me a love for structure, purpose, and striving for excellence.

As a young athlete, I discovered a passion for Track & Field. My college years were marked by grit, determination, and eventually becoming an All-American in the Hammer Throw. After graduation, I spent six years pursuing an Olympic dream—a journey filled with lessons in perseverance and faith, even when the ending wasn’t what I initially envisioned.

In 2019, God’s plans for me began to unfold in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. I met my husband, Kyle, and just months later, we were married. The pandemic gave us the unexpected gift of time to truly know each other, and our love has only deepened since.

In 2023, our lives changed forever with the arrival of our twins, Kaiya and Anthony. Born 10 weeks early, their NICU journey taught me more about strength, grace, and trust than I ever thought possible. Today, our family is thriving, and I’m embracing this new chapter of life as a wife, mom, and encourager.

This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned—and am still learning—with you. From faith to motherhood, from finding purpose to embracing growth, I hope this space inspires and equips you for your journey.

Whether you’re here to redefine your identity, deepen your faith, or simply find encouragement, I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s grow together.
